French Legion of Honor Application
The Government of France is awarding its prestigious Legion D’Honneur medal to Americans who served in France during WW II. All that is required is for a qualified veteran to submit an award application form. If you have a list of 100th and 442nd veterans who served in France this should be an easy exercise. As the application form is 3 pages, we recommend that the younger generation offer to fill the form out for the veteran, get them to sign it, and mail it for them. We believe it is too much to ask a 95-year-old veteran to complete this lengthy form. If you are not able to handle this requirement at this time please introduce me to an appropriate person and I would be delighted to work with him or her. There is no costs. involved, only time and effort.
